Dreamina (dreamina.capcut.com) is ByteDance's creative app and the main consumer home of Seedance, the model many creators use as their quality reference. Start on the free daily credits, draft at low resolution, and buy Basic only when you know you will use it every week.

• Seedance 2.5 takes up to 50 reference files (30 images, 10 videos, 10 audio clips). Seedance 2.0 takes up to 15.
• Seedance 2.5 generates dialogue in 11 languages, including Vietnamese.
• Seedance 2.5 has a draft mode: a 480p preview first, then the final render.
• Seedance 2.5 understands second based timestamps ("0 to 3 seconds"). Seedance 2.0 ignores them and only follows "Shot 1, Shot 2".

The Standard plan also includes the GPT Image 2.5 image model, so you can make first frames in the same app. See Image tools.

Prices checked on 15 Oct 2026 on the Dreamina checkout page in Vietnam (monthly tab).

• The first month prices come from a "Monthly 52% off" tab. The checkout also offers yearly (40% off), quarterly (40% off) and plain 1 month tabs.
• The Basic card shows "10,000 VND = 222 credits". That rate uses the first month price. At the renewal price, 10,000 VND buys about 107 credits.
• Basic removes the watermark and allows longer videos and higher resolution, according to the checkout page.
• The 120 free credits refresh every day, per a Dreamina page dated 10 Sep 2026.

Dreamina does not publish how many credits each clip costs. The cost depends on model, length, resolution, mode and audio, and the app shows it before you generate. Check that number every time.

• Start free. 120 credits a day is enough to learn the prompt format on short, low resolution clips.
• Buy Basic when the free credits run out before your ideas do. The first month costs 187,200 VND. Turn off auto renew right after paying if you are not sure you want month two at 390,000 VND.
• Pick Standard only if you also want GPT Image 2.5 in Dreamina or you use up Basic every month. The price per credit is almost the same as Basic, so you pay for volume, not a better rate.
• Avoid Advanced and Ultra until you have tracked a few months of real usage. The per credit saving is under 10 percent and the monthly bill is 10 to 35 times higher.
• Avoid yearly plans on day one. You lock in a model and a price before you know whether Seedance suits your videos.

• Draft mode or low resolution for every first take. The API docs bill a draft as a 480p task. A 5 second 480p Seedance 2.5 clip costs about 18 percent of a 1080p one at API rates (0.514 USD against 2.843 USD). One creator reported 39.80 USD for 7 tries at 1080p against 8.59 USD for 480p drafts plus an upscale.
• References with roles. Refer to uploads as @Image 1, @Video 1, @Audio 1 and say what each one gives: face, outfit, motion, voice.
• Sound syntax in Seedance 2.5. () for music, <> for sound effects, {} for dialogue. Name the language before non Chinese dialogue.
• Duration. 2.5 goes up to 30 seconds, but longer clips drift more. Keep most shots at 4 to 8 seconds.

• Credit expiry. Dreamina does not say whether unused monthly credits carry over. Assume they do not.
• Watermark. Official pages say a watermark "may" apply on the free tier, depending on how you export. Basic and up remove it.
• Commercial rights. No clear official rule for the free tier. Check the Terms for your plan before you sell a video.
• Moderation. Seedance 2.5 does not accept reference images or videos with real human faces. Creators also report rejected prompts and a reference with blood refused after it had passed before. Use generated or stylized characters.
• AI labels. ByteDance adds invisible watermarks, C2PA Content Credentials and visible AI labels to consumer outputs.
• Paid hype. The "1.5 USD first month" posts on X were a paid campaign (#DreaminaPartner), and that US promo ended on 9 Oct 2026.
