Recipes
Four complete walkthroughs, each with a brief, a budget, a shot list, prompts and the usual failures.
Each recipe takes one concrete video from idea to export. Follow one end to end before you invent your own; the shot lists and prompts are written to be copied and adapted. The recipes are sized for the 25 USD starter budget from Start here. The music video goes a little over because it adds a paid Suno plan.
30 second short story
Two characters, six shots, character sheets and a storyboard sheet in Seedance 2.5. About 3 to 4 hours, about 16 USD at API rates.
18 second product ad
A vertical ad where the product never changes shape, with captions and platform exports. About 2 to 3 hours, 520 Kling credits (about 5.50 USD).
Beat driven music video
A Suno track, a beat map and Seedance audio references, cut on every bar. About 4 to 5 hours, about 22 USD plus a Suno plan.
Launch video with Claude Code
A 40 second launch built with HyperFrames, plus one Veo shot. About 2 to 3 hours, 0 USD in video credits.

Prices checked on 15 Oct 2026. Seedance costs use the official ModelArk API rates as a yardstick; Dreamina shows its own credit cost before you generate. Kling credits are for Kling 3.0 on the Standard plan (6.99 USD for 660 credits in the first month). Hands on times are our estimates for a first attempt and do not include waiting for generations.
What every recipe has in common
- A brief you can change in one table.
- A budget in credits or USD before any generation.
- A shot list where every shot has one subject, one action and one camera move.
- Prompts written for the model's own syntax, not a generic template.
- Drafts at low resolution first, finals only for keepers.
- All on-screen text added in the edit or in code, never generated.
