Google Flow

Flow credits per generation, the free daily credits, which Google AI plan to pick, and how to use Flow from Vietnam.

Google Flow is Google's video tool for Veo 3.1 and Gemini Omni Flash. It is the best free place to start: every account gets 50 credits a day, enough for five Veo 3.1 Lite clips. Pay for a Google AI plan only when you need Omni Flash or more than a few clips a day.

Models in Flow

Veo 3.1 Lite4, 6 or 8 sCheap drafts and simple shots
Veo 3.1 Fast4, 6 or 8 sMost shots once the idea works
Veo 3.1 Quality8 s onlyHero shots where polish matters
Gemini Omni Flash4, 6, 8 or 10 sEdits that keep the shot, storyboard grid input, world knowledge

Veo 3.1 is known for natural native audio, dialogue and atmosphere. Omni Flash renders natively at 360p and 720p; 1080p and 4K are upscales. Both add a SynthID watermark to every output.

  • Costs are "per generation, not per request". One request can make 2 videos, and you pay for both.
  • Some third party pages still quote older Omni rates (15, 20, 25, 30). Use the table above.

Plans and prices

Prices checked on 15 Oct 2026. Google's plan page did not show USD amounts in our research, so the Plus and Pro prices below come from third party pages.

Which plan to buy

  • Stay free while you learn. 50 credits a day is 5 Lite clips or 2 Fast clips, every day.
  • Pick Pro when you make videos every week. 1,000 credits is 50 Fast clips, or 100 Lite clips, plus the daily 50. Several sources name it, with Kling Standard, as the most recommended entry subscription.
  • Pick Plus only for Omni Flash on a small budget. 200 credits is about 16 Omni Flash 8 second clips at 720p.
  • Avoid Ultra at first. Ultra at 100 USD makes Lite free at lower priority and halves Fast, which pays off only at high volume.

Your first video

Open Flow and sign in

Use a Google account for someone 18 or older. Flow is available in Vietnam.

Start a project and add a first frame

Upload a still for the first shot, or a character sheet and a location sheet if the character appears again.

Choose Veo 3.1 Lite and 8 seconds

Lite costs 10 credits per clip on the free tier. Check how many videos one request makes, since each one is charged.

Write the prompt camera first

Google's own order is: cinematography, subject, action, context, style and ambiance. Put dialogue in quotes and describe sound in separate sentences.

Generate, then upgrade the model, not the count

When a Lite take shows the right idea, run the same prompt on Fast or Quality for the final. Upscale to 1080p (0 credits) before you download.

Prompt
Low angle medium shot, 35mm, slow dolly in. A wiry old fisherman in a yellow oilskin coils a wet rope on a pitching trawler deck, pulls it tight, then stops and looks up at the sky. Grey North Sea dawn, cold blue light with a thin orange break on the horizon. Naturalistic 16mm film look. SFX: rope creak, waves slapping the hull. Ambient noise: wind. No music.

Settings worth changing

  • Model per shot. Lite for drafts, Fast for most finals, Quality only for the shot people will remember.
  • Omni Flash 360p for exploring an idea at 4 to 7 credits.
  • Omni Flash edits. Keep edit prompts short and end with "Keep everything else the same". Say "In a single continuous shot" and "No scene cuts" when you want one scene.
  • Prompts in English. Vietnamese is supported, but Google recommends English prompts.

Gotchas

Credits do not roll over

"Unused monthly Google Flow credits do not roll over." The 50 daily credits also reset every day. Bought credits may expire under their purchase terms.

  • Peak hours. Without a subscription, video may be unavailable from 2 PM to 5 PM UTC, which is 9 PM to midnight in Vietnam.
  • Flagging. Creators report heavy moderation; one said a project took almost 5 hours because shots kept being flagged.
  • Credit burn. One creator spent 800 credits on a 28 second UGC video. Draft on Lite and plan shots before you generate.
  • Watermark. Every Veo and Omni output carries an invisible SynthID watermark.
  • Grey market credits. Posts selling "Flow 1K credits for 1 USD" or short warranty Veo accounts in VND are risky. Buy only from Google.
